چکیده

Binary intermetallic compounds, such as FePd3, attract interests due to their physical, magnetic and catalytic properties. For a better understanding of hydrogenation properties, both ordered FePd3 disordered Fe0.25Pd0.75 are studied by several in situ methods, thermal analysis, X-ray powder diffraction neutron diffraction, at moderate hydrogen pressures up 8.0 MPa. absorbs small amounts room temperature follows Sieverts’ law solubility metals. [Pd6] octahedral voids filled 4.7(9)% statistical manner 8.00(2) MPa, yielding the hydride FePd3H0.047(9). This is accompanied decreasing long-range order Fe Pd atoms (site occupancy factor Wyckoff position 1a from 0.875(3) 0.794(4)). trend also observed during heating, while moment decreases Curie 495(8) K. The dependences moments iron under isobaric conditions (p(D2) = 8.2(2) MPa) consistent with 3D Ising or Heisenberg model (critical parameter β 0.28(5)). atomic content show complex interplay.

Effects of Hydrogen Sulfide on Cold-Induced Oxidative Damage in Cucumis sativus L.

One of the major abiotic stresses limiting the productivity and the geographical distribution of many important crops is low temperature. Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is an important signaling molecule involved in several stress-resistance processes such as drought, salinity and heavy metal stresses in plants. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of exogenous H2S...

Evaluating the effects of galbanic acid on hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative DNA damage in human lymphocytes

Objective: Ferula szowitsiana has been widely used for medicinal purposes around the world. The anti-oxidant effect of F.szowitsiana had been proved. The current study aims to determine the protective effects of galbanic acid, a sesquiterpene coumarin from F. szowitsiana, against hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) - induced oxidative DNA damage in human lymphocytes. Materials and Methods: Human lymphocyt...

Effects of Some Lamiaceae Species on NO Production and Cell Injury in Hydrogen Peroxide-induced Stress

Nitric oxide (NO) is a key mediator that plays an important role in pathogenesis of various chronic diseases like Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. Additionally, there is a great attitude for finding natural compounds, which could control and inhibit NO production in pathological conditions. Therefore, we were encouraged to investigate the effects of some Lamiaceae species on NO prod...
